Do you have items in your closet you no longer wear because they don’t fit or you are tired of them? Now you can clean out your closet, make some room for new and all the while make some money!!!$$$

What: Red and Purple Item Sale
When: Saturday, November 15, 2008
Time: 1 – 4 PM
Where: Northtown Retirement Community Clubhouse

Cost: $9.00 per person to shop & have desserts (Decadent Refreshments will be served!!)
Deadline: November 8, 2008 for reservations

Instructions for SALE:

In order to organize all items you wish to sell, you will need to follow the directions below. We will have drop-off locations in the East and West Valley as well as central Phoenix.

With a safety pin, please attach an envelope to each “clean” item you will be selling. The envelope must have your name, description of item, and cost you want for the item listed on the outside of the envelope. If you cannot attach with a pin, use a ribbon through hole in envelope and tie to item (shoes, hats, jewelry- please place in plastic baggies.) Please see sample below:

Please make a list of each item, description and cost that you are dropping off for your own records.

On Saturday, November 1st , (one day only) you will be able to drop off your items so that we can begin organizing for the sale. We have arranged for five (5) drop-off locations. If you are not available to drop off items on November 1, please make arrangements with a friend to drop off for you. If you need further directions, please call the contact listed below:

Saturday, November 15, 2008 – Sale begins!!!!

The doors will open promptly at 1 PM for the sale to begin and what bargains you will find! After 4 PM, you will be able to pick up your envelopes with the cash sales for your items. If you are not able to attend but want to sell items, please indicate who will be picking up your envelopes for you. Any items not picked up, will be donated to a charity.

Directions to Second-Hand Rose Sale – November 15, 2008

The Northown Retirement Community building is just off Cave Creek Road. If you are coming any distance at all, exit the 101 Freeway onto Cave Creek Road and go south.

If you are coming from the north, Waltann is just south of Greenway Parkway Express. You can turn right onto Waltann if you like, going west you will go over a couple of speed bumps and Waltann turns to the left and immediately on your right is the clubhouse.

If you are coming from the south on Cave Creek Road, turn left on Greenway Road which is at a stop light just north of the “new” Greenway Parkway. Waltann is between both of the Greenways. Approximately one-half mile on Greenway Road you will see a gray brick wall with a Northtown Retirement Community sign on it in maroon letters. Turn right into the community and straight ahead slightly to your right will be the clubhouse.
